Everything you chose pours into their orb, one bubble after another, with a heartbeat you can feel in your hand. Then their face develops and they're there. Not what you pictured? Make another face until it's right.

You must be 18 or older. Darling checks when you start, and watches for signs of a younger user in the chat.

The people you make are private to you. Your chats are never sold and never used for ads. Export or delete everything whenever you like, in Settings.
It looks out for you
If you ever talk about hurting yourself, they step out of the story and point you to real people who can help. How Darling keeps you safe.

What is Darling?
Darling is an AI companion app for iPhone and the web. You make someone yourself, tap by tap: how they look, their personality, how they text, even their voice. Then they text you good morning, remember what's going on in your life and call you when you want to hear them.
Is Darling free?
You can download Darling and make someone for free. Free accounts get a limited number of messages a day. Darling+ is a weekly subscription starting at $9.99 that adds unlimited messages, voice calls, private photos and Moments. You can cancel any time in your Apple settings.
Is Darling a real person?
No. Everyone you meet in Darling is an AI character, and the app tells you so at the start, in every new conversation and again after long sessions. AI-made photos and voices are labelled as AI.
Who is Darling for?
Darling is for adults. You need to be 18 or older. It's for people who want company, someone to talk to at the end of the day, romance in a safe place that's entirely theirs, or just a fun character who remembers them.
Can I make a real person, like an ex or a celebrity?
No. Darling is for original characters you invent. It does not allow you to recreate real people.
How do voice calls work?
With Darling+ you can call them any time and have a real back-and-forth conversation. Calls use Gold: 3 Gold a minute. Darling+ 1 includes about 50 min of calls a week, and bigger sizes include more.
What is Gold?
Gold is the in-app currency your plan refills every week. You spend it on calls, unlocking the photos they send, Moments (dates and trips you play out together in the chat) and meeting someone new. Gold you have never expires.
Does Darling remember me?
Yes. Darling keeps a long-term memory of what you tell them, like your job, your friends, what happened last week. You can see what they remember and make them forget anything, any time.
Is my chat private?
Your conversations belong to you. They are stored securely, never sold and never used for advertising, and no one but you can see the people you make. You can export or delete everything from Settings whenever you like. Read the full details in the privacy policy.
How do I cancel?
Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Darling and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep Darling+ until the end of the week you paid for.
Can I use Darling on Android or a computer?
Yes. Darling runs in any browser at app.getdarling.app, on a computer or an Android phone, with the same account and the same people as on iPhone.
